Tax Internship - Summer 2027

About the role#

HCVT is offering a paid, full-time Tax Internship for the summer of 2027. This position is based in Pasadena, California, and operates under a hybrid work model.

What you'll do#

• Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Complete projects within established engagement timelines and budget guidelines.
• Utilize firm tax preparation software to support client service quality.
• Perform self-reviews of your work to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct tax technical research as assigned by supervisors.
• Develop professional relationships and engage in training and development activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently on track to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or taxation between December 2027 and July 2028.
• Minimum overall and accounting GPAs of 3.0.
• Active membership in Beta Alpha Psi or another campus accounting organization.
• Strong technical aptitude and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week from mid-June through mid-August.
