About the role#
HCVT is hiring for a Tax Internship during the summer of 2027. This is a paid, full-time position based in Pasadena, California. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing time between the office and remote work.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
- Complete projects while meeting engagement timelines and budget guidelines.
- Learn and use firm tax preparation software.
- Perform self-reviews of your work to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct tax technical research as assigned by supervisors.
- Build relationships with firm professionals and participate in training sessions.
What you'll need#
- You are on track to complete a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or taxation between December 2027 and July 2028.
- You have a minimum overall and accounting GPA of 3.0.
- You are an active member of Beta Alpha Psi or another campus accounting organization.
- You possess strong technical aptitude along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- You are available to work 40 hours per week from mid-June through mid-August 2027.

- Compensation: $38.00 per hour, plus a one-time program completion bonus.
