About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic. This position offers a mix of in-person and remote work. You will join a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and nurse practitioners to provide care for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and up.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Lead psychoeducation sessions for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers across different disciplines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided.
- Stay updated on current developments in the field of psychotherapy.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or current progress toward obtaining one.
- Prior experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Hallandale Beach, Florida.
- Modality: On-site and remote options are available.
- Schedule: This is a contracted role with flexible hours. The office is open for in-person appointments Monday through Thursday, with telehealth options available Friday through Sunday. You may work up to 50% remotely.
