About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinic network. This role involves providing care for adults, adolescents, and children aged five and above. You will work as an independent contractor with the flexibility to set your own hours.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered.
- Keep up with current advancements in the field through professional development.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Palm Harbor, Florida.
- Modality: This position offers both on-site and remote work opportunities.
- Schedule: You may determine your own working hours. Offices are open Monday through Thursday for in-person and telehealth visits, with additional availability for telemedicine on Fridays through Sundays.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Employment type: Full-time contract position.
