About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic in Jacksonville. This is a full-time, paid contract position that offers flexibility in your work schedule. You will have the option to work on-site or remotely, with the ability to perform up to 50% of your work via telemedicine.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, make diagnoses, and provide therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all services provided.
- Keep up with current advancements in the field of counseling.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or documentation that you are in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
