About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic in Tallahassee. This is a paid, full-time contract position that offers the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely. You will join a multidisciplinary team to provide care for adults, adolescents, and children.
What you'll do#
- Perform psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Work alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and strategies.
- Complete documentation for all services rendered.
- Maintain current knowledge of advancements in the field.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Tallahassee, Florida.
- Modality: Hybrid (On-site and remote options available).
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Schedule: Independent contractors determine their own hours, with office access Monday through Thursday and telehealth availability Friday through Sunday.
