About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is hiring a Psychotherapist Intern for our outpatient clinic in Oviedo. This is a full-time, paid contract position that offers flexibility in scheduling. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide care for children, adolescents, and adults. We support both in-person and remote work, with the option for 50% telemedicine from the start.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment strategies.
- Work alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered.
- Keep up with current developments in the field through professional growth.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license or proof that you are in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Oviedo, Florida.
- Modality: On-site and remote.
- Compensation: $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- Schedule: Independent contractors determine their own hours, with office availability Monday through Thursday and telemedicine options available Friday through Sunday.
