About the role#
Harmony United Psychiatric Care is seeking a Psychotherapist Intern to join our outpatient clinics. This position allows for a mix of in-person and remote work. You will provide care to patients aged five and older as part of a multidisciplinary team. This is a paid, full-time contract role.
What you'll do#
- Conduct psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and strategies.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services rendered.
- Keep up with current advancements in the field through professional development.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
- An active Florida Intern license, or proof that you are in the process of obtaining one.
- Previous work experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Location & details#
- Role is based in Orlando, Florida.
- Work modality includes both on-site and remote options.
- Compensation is $35 to $40 per billable hour.
- As an independent contractor, you determine your own working hours.
- Offices are open for in-person and telehealth appointments Monday through Thursday, with telemedicine availability Friday through Sunday.
