About the role#
The Out of Home Media Buying team plans and executes advertising across formats like billboards, transit, and digital displays. As an intern, you will learn the basics of media planning and buying. You will assist with market research, vendor outreach, and campaign execution while working alongside experienced professionals. This role focuses on how strategy and negotiation reach audiences in the physical world.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to the media team.
- Support the buying process and assist with topline planning requests.
- Create points of view regarding various publishers.
- Compile screen shot decks for live campaigns and post reports.
- Prepare proof of performance reporting updates for clients.
- Perform creative trafficking and attend vendor meetings.
- Use Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid internship based in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
- The term for this position is Fall 2026.
- This is an unpaid internship that can be completed for academic credit.
- Scheduling is flexible, with many interns working two to three days per week.
