About the role#
The Out of Home (OOH) Media Buying team plans and executes advertising across formats like billboards, transit, place-based media, and digital OOH. As an intern, you will learn the fundamentals of media planning and buying by assisting with market research, vendor outreach, and campaign execution. You will work under the mentorship of experienced OOH professionals to see how strategy, negotiation, and creativity reach audiences in the physical world.
What you'll do#
- Provide general administrative support to the media team.
- Support the buying process and assist with topline planning requests.
- Create points of view (POVs) about various publishers.
- Compile screen shot decks for live campaigns and post reports.
- Compile proof of performance (POP) reporting updates for clients.
- Perform creative trafficking and attend vendor meetings.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Keep informed of relevant issues affecting the advertising industry.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Current enrollment in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies programs.
