About the role#
Harbor is looking for a part-time intern to support research and information initiatives for our clients. You will receive onboarding and training before starting your assignment. We provide consistent support through weekly meetings to discuss your progress and address any questions. This is a paid, remote position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and background factual investigations for attorneys and internal projects.
- Evaluate information from proprietary, government, and open sources.
- Draft research and content guides to help practice teams find relevant information.
- Curate and edit email newsletters and current awareness tools.
- Use Microsoft enterprise technology to support and improve department workflows.
- Attend remote meetings with team members and client staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an MLS, MLIS, or Juris Doctor program.
- An interest in legal research and information services.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote within the United States.
- The internship lasts 15 to 17 weeks, starting September 2, 2026.
- You will work 15 hours per week, scheduled between 9 am and 7 pm.
- Permanent US work authorization is required.
