About the role#
Hantzmon Wiebel LLP offers a paid summer internship for students interested in accounting. This full-time, on-site role runs from early June to early August 2027. You will work 32 hours a week, typically Monday through Thursday. Interns have the opportunity to earn college credit while gaining experience in the accounting industry through coaching and support from professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with accounting tasks such as data entry, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Research and compile data for special projects.
- Support the team with audit preparation.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the accounting staff.
- Learn about industry practices and accounting principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting, finance, or related degree program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
- Ability to manage your time and organize tasks effectively.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
