About the role#
Halff is seeking an IT Intern to join our team in Richardson, Texas. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support and help desk operations.
What you'll do#
- Track, route, and redirect IT problems to the correct resources.
- Walk customers through problem-solving processes and document resolutions for knowledgebase articles and the ITIL library.
- Update customer data and produce activity reports.
- Follow up with customers to provide feedback and ensure problems reach a resolution.
- Ensure all issues are properly recorded, documented, and closed.
- Recommend modifications or improvements to existing procedures.
- Maintain and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products, and services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Strong communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Richardson, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, typically 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Term: Rolling.
