About the role#
H2M architects + engineers is hiring a Human Resources Student Intern for the summer of 2027. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in our Human Resources department. You will gain hands-on experience while contributing to real projects within our firm.
What you'll do#
- Perform general administrative tasks and provide office support to the HR team.
- Assist with data entry, filing, research, and the distribution of information.
- Participate in professional development workshops covering topics like resume writing, interviewing, and presentation skills.
- Conduct site visits and attend client meetings to better understand our operations.
- Complete a final presentation at the end of the program to share your project results and learning outcomes.
What you'll need#
- You must be a sophomore or higher at an accredited institution.
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelor or master degree program.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
- You should be eager to learn and capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in Melville, New York.
- The program runs from June 7th to August 13th.
- This is a paid position with an hourly rate between $19.25 and $27.00.
- The role may be full-time or part-time depending on business needs and your availability.
