About the role#
The Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) department manages the design and certification of aircraft electrical wire harnesses. These harnesses serve as the primary power distribution and control systems for our aircraft. You will work on the wiring, conduits, shielding, and clamps used to transmit electrical energy across the plane.
What you'll do#
- Create wire diagrams, loom drawings, and 3D installations.
- Design secondary structures.
- Prepare certification documentation, reports, and inspection plans.
- Develop engineering dispositions.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor's degree program or higher in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year before the start date.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Juniors must complete 2 rotations, while Seniors and Graduate students must complete 1 rotation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Savannah, Georgia.
- The term is for Winter 2027.
- This position is paid.
