About the role#
This internship supports the Portfolio Governance and Operations team. You will coordinate project activities, keep records accurate, and help improve processes to ensure work aligns with company goals. This is a full-time, paid position based in Bloomington, Illinois.
What you'll do#
- Schedule project meetings, manage calendars, and assist with resource planning.
- Update project data in the PPM tool and ensure accuracy across reporting systems.
- Facilitate conversations between functional, business, and technical analysts to clarify requirements and resolve gaps.
- Document lessons learned, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to workflows.
- Assist in mapping projects to organizational priorities and monitor adherence to governance frameworks.
- Follow company policies, including safety, environmental, and compliance procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university IT or business-related degree program, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Good academic standing.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort working with digital tools and learning new systems.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
- Ability to lift 51-70 pounds and work in various weather conditions or at heights when required.
