Enterprise Risk Management Intern (Fall)

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, risk identification, and assessment processes. You will work within the risk management team to support the organization's risk capabilities, gaining exposure to practices applicable to careers in risk management, consulting, finance, and corporate strategy.

What you'll do#

• Facilitate risk assessments, metrics, and data collection with stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the risk register, including risk ratings, owners, and mitigation plans.
• Research emerging risks, such as cybersecurity, geopolitical, and regulatory issues.
• Develop risk dashboards, heat maps, and reporting materials for senior management.
• Track and monitor key risk indicators and risk mitigation action items.
• Contribute to the refinement of ERM policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings with departments including IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal.
• Assist with scenario analysis, stress testing, and business continuity planning.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in Risk Management & Insurance or a related field (Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics, or Cybersecurity).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

• Commitment: Approximately 15–20 hours per week.
