About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, risk identification, and assessment processes. You will work with the risk management team to maintain and enhance the organization's risk capabilities. This role is based in Zionsville, Indiana, and requires a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the facilitation of risk assessments, metrics, and data collection with stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the risk register, including risk ratings, owners, and mitigation plans.
- Conduct research on emerging risks, such as cybersecurity, geopolitical, and regulatory issues.
- Develop risk dashboards, heat maps, and reporting materials for senior management.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand how risk is managed across departments like IT, Finance, and Operations.
- Support the tracking of key risk indicators and contribute to the refinement of ERM policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or senior in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics, or Cybersecurity.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
