About the role#
Great Lakes Bay Health Centers is hiring an IT Intern to support our technology operations in Saginaw. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling term. You will assist our team with device lifecycle management, infrastructure maintenance, and system compliance.
What you'll do#
- Provision and image new devices while managing enrollment and lifecycle tasks.
- Keep our inventory system updated with accurate asset records and warranty information.
- Support software deployment and patching efforts to ensure device compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance in network closets and verify infrastructure connectivity.
- Handle warranty and repair logistics for IT hardware.
- Create and update technical documentation, checklists, and diagrams.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A basic understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware components, operating systems, and networking basics.
- Familiarity with systems concepts like imaging, patching, or configuration.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and organizing data.
- The physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or twist while holding up to 50 lbs.

- This position is located in Saginaw, Michigan.
- Work is performed on-site. Hybrid schedules are not available.
- This is a temporary role limited to a total of 500 hours.
