About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers exposure to tax procedures, including consulting and return preparation. You will conduct tax research, assist with tax planning, and prepare supporting work papers. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team. You will also participate in office community activities and build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by international teams.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
- Collaborate with client team members on a variety of engagements across different industries.
- Participate in team-building exercises, networking, and professional development discussions with a mentor.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Ability to work additional hours and travel to various client sites as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Reno, Nevada.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $37 per hour.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site.
