About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will join project delivery teams to gain exposure to various industries, business processes, operations, and systems. You will work under the supervision of experienced team members to execute high-quality projects while managing your workload against budgets and timelines. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assess business and information technology processes and system internal controls.
- Execute enterprise, operational, information technology, and third-party risk management and compliance programs.
- Execute internal audit plans, including information technology internal audits.
- Obtain and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize results using commercially available analytics solutions.
- Assist with business development activities, including conducting research and contributing to proposals.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project approaches and identify process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
- Overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time as required.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. This position requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at a firm office or client site.
- Compensation: $37 per hour.
- Benefits: Interns are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, the employee assistance program, 72 hours of paid sick leave, and paid firm holidays.
