About the role#
The Business Intelligence and Analytics team at Grande Cheese Company is hiring a student for a summer internship in 2027. You will work on real issues that our full-time associates face. This role offers experience in analytics, business intelligence, and data science. You will be paired with a mentor to help you build skills and reach your development goals. The program includes farm and facility tours, networking events with executives, and volunteer opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Data and Analytics Engineers and business partners to develop analytics tools, data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Build and maintain data views using SQL to support reporting and business insights.
- Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders.
- Test, validate, and improve analytics and reporting solutions.
- Create technical documentation to support implementation and maintenance of data solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
- Experience with reporting software, SQL, DBMS, and analytics or data science tools.
- Proactive client service skills and a positive, flexible attitude when working with internal business stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to build trust with business partners and follow pre-established guidelines.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
- The program runs during the summer of 2027.
