Testing Services Specialist - Student Accessibility Resources

About the role#

The Testing Services Specialist supports the daily operations of the Student Accessibility Resources Testing Center. This position is responsible for coordinating and administering secure exams for students and faculty, ensuring all processes align with academic integrity standards and institutional policies. This is a full-time, paid position with a compensation rate of $20.00 per hour.

What you'll do#

• Coordinate and administer secure testing services for students, faculty, and campus partners.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries regarding exam requests, logistics, and testing procedures.
• Proctor exams in accordance with established Testing Center policies.
• Monitor testing environments to promote academic integrity and a secure assessment experience.
• Utilize testing-related technology and systems to support exam administration and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Prepare testing environments and ensure all materials are processed accurately and securely.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and sensitive academic materials.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures consistently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software systems.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a student-facing environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
