About the role#
The Office of the Provost is looking for a Student Data Analyst to support institutional effectiveness, accreditation, and assessment efforts. You will provide data-informed insights to help university leadership and faculty make decisions regarding student success and academic program development. This role involves working across various university departments to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and report on institutional and student data.
- Support accreditation activities through benchmarking, evidence preparation, and compliance documentation.
- Assess student learning outcomes and academic program effectiveness.
- Analyze metrics related to enrollment, retention, persistence, and graduation.
- Conduct market, competitor, and workforce analyses to support strategic planning.
- Design and administer surveys using Qualtrics.
- Facilitate focus groups and qualitative research.
- Create dashboards, data visualizations, and presentations for leadership.
- Maintain records and documentation for accreditation and compliance.
- Present findings and recommendations to faculty and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Golden Gate University.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work well with others across different departments.
- Professionalism and sensitivity when handling confidential information.
- Academic background in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or Economics.
