About the role#
The HR Analytics team is looking for an intern to help develop strategic, operational, and financial insights for workforce decision-making. You will use predictive analytics and people metrics to support areas like staffing, talent management, and development. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Malta, New York, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Apply advanced and predictive analytics to create reports that guide workforce decisions.
- Build models to drive efficiencies in resource planning.
- Partner with the HR function to assess organizational staffing needs and identify solutions.
- Deliver reliable information, including assessments, trends, and conclusions based on data output.
- Maintain enhanced reporting systems.
- Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements in every task.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore in a Bachelor's degree program.
- A major in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, HR metrics, or people analytics concepts.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Project management experience.
- An interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Prior internship or co-op experience and demonstrated leadership in school or work settings are preferred.
