About the role#
This summer internship offers exposure to the private wealth and investment management businesses at Glenmede. You will join the portfolio management team, which handles daily oversight and investment execution for high-net-worth families. The program is designed for students interested in portfolio construction and implementation who want to gain experience working alongside managers and specialists.
What you'll do#
- Support a wide range of portfolio management, construction, and implementation activities.
- Work collaboratively with team members across various career levels.
- Perform professionally while contributing to the daily operations of the wealth management business.
- Gain insight into the firm through networking events, a group project, and exposure to different business areas.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program as a rising senior, with a graduation date between May 2028 and December 2028.
- A major in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a client facing role.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle tasks both independently and within a team.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Princeton, New Jersey.
- The internship is a 10-week, full-time program running from June to August 2027.
- This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days of work in the office per week.
- Compensation for this role is $30 per hour.
