About the role#
This summer internship offers a 10-week program for students to gain direct experience in the wealth and investment management businesses. You will work alongside managers and specialists to support daily operations and client-focused activities. The program includes networking, a final group project, and exposure to various areas of the firm.
What you'll do#
- Support a wide range of departmental activities and perform professionally.
- Participate in the daily oversight and execution of investment management tasks within Portfolio Management.
- Assist with client service work and portfolio construction for high-net-worth families.
- Provide support in Wealth Advisory areas, including family governance, philanthropic guidance, fiduciary services, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with team members across different career levels.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program as a rising senior graduating between May 2028 and December 2028.
- Preference for majors in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a client-facing role.
- Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Work Modality: On-site, up to five days per week.
- Compensation: $30 per hour.
