About the role#
Glenmede offers a 10-week summer internship for students interested in portfolio management, construction, and implementation within private wealth management. This role provides exposure to holistic, goals-based wealth and investment management for high-net-worth families. You will work alongside managers and specialists to gain insight into the firm and professional development through networking events, a final group project, and social outings.
What you'll do#
- Support a wide range of activities within the department.
- Perform professionally in a team-oriented environment.
- Work collaboratively with managers and specialists of all career levels.
- Assist with daily oversight and execution of investment management responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program as a rising senior (graduating between May 2028 and December 2028).
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a client-facing role.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate work on time.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and function effectively both in a team and independently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (at least three days per week in the office).
- Compensation: $30 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
