About the role#
GLC Advisors & Co., LLC is seeking an Analyst for its M&A practice in Denver. This role provides direct support to junior and senior bankers in the execution of M&A, financing transactions, and other corporate finance advisory projects. Analysts are assigned a variety of tasks and are given responsibility based on their experience and capabilities.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with client senior management, board members, and stakeholders through all phases of transaction advisory and execution.
- Build financial models and perform valuation analyses.
- Prepare presentations, company offering memorandums, management presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Analyze company historical financial statements and prospective financial information.
- Conduct extensive industry and company research.
- Collaborate within M&A execution teams.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student with an expected graduation date in Summer 2026.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or an applicable field.
- Prior experience in corporate finance, accounting, private equity, investment banking, or related financial services.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial information tools such as S&P Capital IQ and PitchBook is preferred.
- Strong desire to develop modeling and financial statement analysis skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to work long hours and weekends.
