About the role#
The Outreach Support Intern supports the patient acquisition pipeline, from initial lead engagement through claim filing. This temporary contract position averages 35 hours per week through December 2026, with potential for full-time conversion based on business needs. This role assists Outreach Coordinators by coordinating patient outreach, scheduling and confirming appointments, screening for eligibility, and maintaining accurate Salesforce documentation.
What you'll do#
- Contact all new leads and follow up when initial contact attempts are unsuccessful.
- Schedule intake appointments and ensure accuracy in Salesforce.
- Confirm intake appointments with patients the day prior.
- Evaluate patients based on program criteria and level of need.
- Document all patient interactions, intake schedules, and updates in Salesforce.
- Process referrals and ensure all required documentation is uploaded.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize the intake pipeline.
- Participate in team huddles to review KPI progress and strategy.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Psychology, Nursing, Business Administration, Communications, or Public Health.
- Experience in high-volume customer service, call center operations, healthcare intake, or sales.
- Strong Salesforce or CRM documentation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to meet KPI expectations.
