About the role#
This internship position within the Talent Acquisition team focuses on employer branding and talent attraction. You will gain experience in social media strategy, content creation, and campaign management to support Gilead’s reputation as an employer of choice. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to inform branding strategies.
- Create engaging social media posts, graphics, and videos.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and tracking of employer brand campaigns across multiple channels.
- Support the creation and distribution of candidate newsletters and other talent engagement materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute branding initiatives.
- Monitor and report on campaign metrics to measure effectiveness.
- Present your work during a final presentation at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Experience with social media content creation and project management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
