About the role#
We are looking for an HR Intern to join our Talent & Growth Team for the Summer 2027 term. Reporting to the Senior Director of Employee Growth & Learning Enablement, you will support our enterprise strategy to build a culture where employees can learn and thrive. This role offers hands-on experience in shaping the future of learning and employee development at our organization.
What you'll do#
- Analyze employee data, feedback, and workforce trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with employees across our global workforce to gather insights and test new solutions.
- Support the design and delivery of Growth@Gilead initiatives and resources.
- Explore and apply AI tools and emerging technologies to improve how employees access growth opportunities.
- Serve as a core team member in the implementation of our AI-powered Growth Hub.
- Present your work to the team at the conclusion of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-12 week internship between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without need for future sponsorship.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- A demonstrated interest in employee development, learning, and the application of AI in the workplace.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
