About the role#
Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Procurement/Sourcing Analytics Intern for a 10-week summer program in Atlanta. This role supports the Sourcing team through data analysis, supplier research, and project management. You will gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations while working alongside a cohort of other interns.
What you'll do#
- Gather, analyze, and report on data to support sourcing initiatives.
- Research suppliers and maintain accurate sourcing information.
- Build reports, dashboards, and presentations for business updates.
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Product, Inventory Planning, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
- Identify business trends and suggest areas for improvement.
- Present your findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Support strategic projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and analyze large data sets using Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A 3.25 GPA or above is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a willingness to learn about supplier management.

Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
