About the role#
As a Cloud SRE Intern, you will work with a cross-functional team to maintain system reliability, performance, and automation. This role provides hands-on experience with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and site reliability engineering principles. You will work alongside senior team members on assigned tasks to support cloud-based transformations.
What you'll do#
- Support the team in maintaining system reliability, scalability, and uptime.
- Assist with incident response and root cause analysis to improve system resilience.
- Monitor and maintain cloud resources to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and technical discussions.
- Contribute to automation and continuous process improvement cycles.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SRE principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of web technology and DevOps monitoring tools.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
