About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the Corporate FP&A team with monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will work with finance teams across various business units to collect and analyze operational data. The role involves a specific project focused on finance automation and artificial intelligence to improve forecasting accuracy and reporting processes. You will also participate in finance transformation initiatives and perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting cycles.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to consolidate financial and operational data.
- Execute an automation and AI project to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Review forecast-to-actual variances to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support process improvements and planning system optimizations.
- Complete ad hoc financial projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least freshman year before the start of the program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with large data sets.
- Interest in corporate finance, financial planning, and business performance management.

- Location: Novi, Michigan.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, paid internship running from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid or on-site, with the requirement to be on-site 4 to 5 days per week.
