About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain professional experience within the Gentherm program management team. You will join a cohort of students for the summer of 2027, participating in learning sessions with executive leaders and company events. The role focuses on integrating classroom knowledge with practical application through a specific project aligned with department goals.
What you'll do#
- Work with the program management team and PMO to build standardized and product specific timelines for each OEM.
- Assist the team with blower planning and align these efforts with product development and launch cycles.
- Review current SAP workflows to identify inefficiencies.
- Develop proposals and timing plans to implement process improvements for new product launches and engineering changes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program, specifically in business administration, management, engineering, or operations management.
- Completion of your sophomore year by the start of the program.
- Previous internship experience.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Project and flowcharting software.
- Familiarity with general Microsoft products.
- Experience with program management methodologies and business process improvements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position located in Novi, Michigan.
- You must be able to work on-site 4 to 5 days per week.
- The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
