About the role#
This summer internship offers students a chance to experience the engineering culture at Gentherm. You will join a cohort of 15 other students to learn about our business goals and mission. The program provides opportunities to interact with executive leaders through monthly learning sessions and participate in community and company events.
What you'll do#
- Complete a project tailored to your area of study and department goals.
- Support our mission to create thermal solutions that improve health, wellness, comfort, and energy efficiency.
- Engage in cohort-style program activities.
- Apply classroom knowledge to practical projects in a professional setting.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a STEM degree program, specifically Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Completed your freshman year by the start of the program.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 12-week program.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Novi, Michigan.
- You must be able to work on-site at our Novi facilities at least 3 days per week, with the option to work on-site up to 5 days.
- The program runs for 12 weeks during the Summer 2027 term.
- We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
