About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with the production process at General Manufacturing. You will work under the supervision of a mechanical engineer to strengthen your machining abilities and contribute to the development of rifle sights and muzzle breaks.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and load fixtures into CNC machines.
- Assist in monitoring the machining process.
- Perform hand assembly of parts into finished products.
- Sandblast and deburr components as needed.
- Track inventory of parts and assembled products.
- Ensure quality control standards are met for all products.
- Troubleshoot part issues and identify potential design flaws.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to suggest design improvements and assist in the development of new products.
What you'll need#
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of firearms parts is preferred.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- Compensation: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
