About the role#
General Dynamics Mission Systems is hiring an Engineering Intern for our FPGA team. You will support programs that contribute to the defense of the country. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced colleagues on technical projects related to our core mission.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to real-world defense programs.
- Collaborate with teams on technical projects.
- Develop solutions that assist customers in carrying out national security missions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program for Computer, Systems, Software, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
- Preference for students with sophomore standing or higher.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred.

- Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The position operates on a rolling basis.
