About the role#
As an intern with the Aero Services Fulfillment Organization, you will contribute to the delivery of quality products to our customers. You will focus on identifying process improvement opportunities, creating standard work documentation, and streamlining connectivity between project work streams to improve overall efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Analyze current fulfillment processes to find gaps and bottlenecks in project execution.
- Develop and document standard work procedures to ensure consistent delivery and compliance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to map project work streams from initial order to final delivery.
- Support project managers by tracking milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
- Collect and analyze performance data to support process improvements.
- Join root cause analysis sessions to help resolve recurring fulfillment challenges.
- Create visual management tools or dashboards to improve project visibility.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Interest in operational excellence and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience or coursework in project management tools like Microsoft Project or Jira, or data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site at our Level 4 repair shop in Houston, Texas.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
