About the role#
As a Financial Development Program Intern, you will complete a 10 to 12 week project-based internship. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate finance while working alongside experienced professionals. This role provides exposure to finance leadership and the chance to understand how finance drives business performance. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to interview for the full-time Financial Development Program, a three-year rotational program that includes a funded MBA.
What you'll do#
- Support financial analysis and participate in month-end close activities.
- Perform account and variance analysis to support accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with business partners to help solve real business challenges.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to support standardized and efficient financial operations.
- Provide analytical support to business partners within an operational finance team.
What you'll need#
- You must be a full-time rising Senior with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.

- This is a full-time, paid internship scheduled for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site at GE Appliances Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
