About the role#
As a Finance Summer Intern at GE Appliances, you will support the Shared Services Finance team. This role provides hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial operations while building a foundation in finance systems and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury activities.
- Use Microsoft Office, Oracle, and approved AI tools to research customer accounts, prepare statements, analyze data, and perform reconciliations.
- Gather and organize supporting documentation to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.
- Research and resolve past-due invoices and customer deductions.
- Investigate unapplied cash and customer credits by analyzing payment activity.
- Process and reconcile credit card transactions.
- Maintain customer data integrity within Oracle by updating account information and validating addresses.
- Collaborate with internal partners to resolve accounting inquiries.
- Complete special projects and assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
- A minimum cumulative 3.0 out of 4.0 grade point average.
- Significant experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Louisville, Kentucky.
- The term runs for the Summer 2027 season.
- This position is paid.
