About the role#
As a Finance Summer Intern in our Shared Services team, you will support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury operations. You will gain hands-on experience with financial systems and data analysis while working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records. This role provides a foundation in corporate finance through daily operational tasks and process improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the Shared Services Finance team with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury activities.
- Research customer accounts and analyze financial data using Microsoft Office, Oracle, and AI tools.
- Prepare account statements and perform account reconciliations.
- Gather and organize documentation, including invoices and proof of delivery.
- Research and resolve past-due invoices, customer deductions, unapplied cash, and customer credits.
- Process and reconcile credit card transactions.
- Maintain the integrity of customer data in Oracle.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to resolve accounting and customer account inquiries.
- Complete special projects and process improvement tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA.
- Significant experience with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Louisville, Kentucky.
- The term runs during the Summer of 2027.
