    About the role#

    The Life Sciences group at GBA works on mechanical and electrical systems for the bio-pharma industry. As an intern, you will join a team of architects, engineers, and project managers to support these projects. This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare construction documents for various systems.
    • Review shop drawings and RFI documents.
    • Verify permitting and code requirements.
    • Conduct facility evaluations and engineering studies.
    • Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning tasks.
    • Handle other tasks as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a BS or MS in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited program.
    • You have completed at least two years of school.
    • A GPA of 2.7 or higher is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel is preferred.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Involvement in campus, community, or volunteer organizations.
    • Prior internship or related experience is a plus.

    • Locations: Broomfield, Colorado or Lenexa, Kansas.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $24 to $26.50 per hour, depending on your completed years of school.
