About the role#
GBA is looking for an Architecture Intern to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work alongside project architects and engineers on new construction and renovation projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide design support to Project Architects and other team members.
- Create and edit project-specific details.
- Assist with maintaining project files and meeting notes.
- Gain exposure to various project types including corporate offices, pharmaceutical clean rooms, R&D/QA labs, fleet maintenance, and industrial/manufacturing spaces.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Architecture program.
- Strong design capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.
