About the role#
This paid internship program provides an opportunity for construction career exploration and the development of technical skills. You will work on-site in Fort Myers during the summer of 2027. The program is designed to help you apply academic concepts to real-world projects while building your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Apply concepts and theories from your major field of study to active projects.
- Participate in professional development sessions, including resume building and interview preparation.
- Engage in discussions regarding business best practices.
- Complete an academic capstone presentation or a craft skills assessment.
- Gain hands-on experience in your specific role while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
- You possess a strong work ethic, consistency, and the ability to hold yourself accountable.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and have strong communication skills.
- You demonstrate grit and a focus on getting the job done.
- You are a team player who is customer-focused and capable of influencing others positively.
- You are excited to travel to new locations and project sites.
