About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship program designed for college students. You will gain hands-on experience by applying academic concepts to real-world construction projects. The program provides training to help you develop your professional resume, interview habits, and networking skills. You will participate in discussions regarding business best practices and complete an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment.
What you'll do#
- Apply theories from your academic studies to daily tasks.
- Participate in professional development sessions, including resume building and interview preparation.
- Work alongside experienced professionals to gain on-the-job training.
- Complete a final capstone presentation or craft skills assessment.
- Contribute to a team environment while learning about the trade industry.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Business, Finance, Marketing, or Accounting.
- Willingness to travel to various project locations.
- Strong work ethic, consistency, and the ability to hold yourself accountable.
- Grit and a determination to get the job done.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- A positive influence on those around you.
