About the role#
This paid summer internship provides hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will work on-site to apply concepts and theories from your major field of study while developing your professional skills. The program lasts between 8 and 11 weeks and includes training in areas like project management, engineering, or corporate support roles.
What you'll do#
- Gain on-the-job experience and training in your specific role.
- Participate in professional development, including resume workshops, interview preparation, and business best practices discussions.
- Receive professional headshots.
- Complete an academic capstone presentation or a craft skills assessment.
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world construction and business projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related areas.
- You have a strong work ethic and the ability to stay consistent.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills.
- You demonstrate grit and hold yourself accountable.
- You are customer-focused and enjoy working in a team environment.
- You have a sense of purpose and a desire to influence others positively.
- You are willing to travel to new locations and projects.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in Louisville, Kentucky, or Sellersburg, Indiana.
- The program takes place during the Summer of 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
