About the role#
This paid internship program offers students a chance to explore construction careers while building technical and professional skills. You will work on-site in Tampa for the summer of 2027. The program lasts between 8 and 11 weeks and provides a space to apply academic theories to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Explore construction career paths and develop technical skills.
- Participate in professional training, including resume development and interview preparation.
- Engage in discussions regarding business best practices.
- Receive professional headshots.
- Apply concepts from your major field of study to your daily work.
- Complete an academic capstone presentation or a craft skills assessment to finish the program.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
- You are excited to travel to new locations and project sites.
- You possess grit, consistency, and a strong work ethic.
- You hold yourself accountable and remain customer focused.
- You demonstrate purpose, resolve, and determination.
- You have strong communication skills and work well within a team.
