About the role#
Gate Store Inc is looking for a Merchandising Intern to help manage space allocation across our locations. You will work with the Director of Merchandising and the Category Management team to improve how we display and place products. This is a paid, full-time position based in Jacksonville, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Use JDA Space Planning software to manage and optimize store layouts.
- Review sales data and customer feedback to find ways to improve our performance.
- Create strategies to increase sales and boost customer satisfaction.
- Work with different teams to carry out merchandising plans.
- Research market trends to keep our practices current.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Merchandising.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have recently finished a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, Graphic Design, Art, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
- You work well on your own and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
