About the role#
The Spring 2027 Northeastern Co-op program offers students an in-depth understanding of Buy-Side, Sell-Side, Restructuring, and Capital Markets processes. Participants gain exposure to comparative and intrinsic valuation methods while collaborating with peer groups, industry experts, and the leadership team. This is a full-time, paid position requiring 40 hours per week during normal business hours.
What you'll do#
- Perform in-depth market research to support business development and mandate execution.
- Assist in creating comparative valuation methodologies, including comparable analysis, market sizing, and precedent transactions.
- Analyze M&A market trends and produce industry-specific research.
- Prepare financial analysis for clients across various industries and sectors to support mandate processes.
- Collaborate on the development of marketing collateral for mandates, including sale processes, financings, assessments, and pitches.
- Engage with existing and prospective clients and provide timely communication to stakeholders.
- Manage competing timelines and priorities while working collaboratively toward shared goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4 or 5-year academic institution with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong understanding of the three financial statements.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, business acumen, and professional writing skills.
- Proactive, self-starter approach to work.
- Relevant academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science.

- Modality: On-site (4 days per week in the office).
- Compensation: $23 per hour.
