Data Center Quality Inspector-Intern

About the role#

As a Data Center Quality Inspector Intern, you will provide quality control services for data infrastructure projects. This role involves performing essential inspections of electrical equipment and systems, including switchgear, standby generators, and protective relays. You will be responsible for maintaining safety standards, documenting findings, and ensuring that all equipment is safely installed and functional.

What you'll do#

• Perform inspections of switchgear, standby generators, protective relays, and other electrical distribution components.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Prepare written documentation, including daily narratives, special inspection reports, and time tracking logs.
• Submit Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requests.
• Review and approve team reports.
• Ensure compliance with all company and site safety requirements.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent (higher education degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or Physics preferred).
• Minimum of two years of experience inspecting, testing, commissioning, or operating electrical distribution systems.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training.
• Strong commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to travel if required.
