About the role#
Freudenberg Group is hiring an R&D Intern for a full-time position in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a paid, on-site role with a rolling start date. You will work directly with our research and development team to support product development and material qualification.
What you'll do#
- Assist with research and development projects.
- Support manufacturing trials by collecting, organizing, and analyzing production data.
- Apply statistical methods to evaluate results and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Complete an independent research project and present your results to the R&D team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university program.
- Motivation to gain hands-on experience and apply classroom learning to real-world projects.
- Basic knowledge related to your field of study.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and professional skills.
